MCI L8CFC-B The Losi 8ight-B Carbon Fiber buggy chassis are handcrafted by highly trained craftsman, using state of the art molding and machining processes. Here at Matrix Concepts Inc. we only use the finest materials made here in the USA, thus insuring a very strong laminate that is durable and looks great. This fully molded 4mm Carbon Fiber Chassis is 1.5mm longer than stock, and redefines innovation with its weight of just 7.77 oz. and the stock one weighs 11.16 oz. Thus making for better acceleration and braking and also makes for a much more nimble car. The chassis is roughly 100 grams lighter than stock, and is totally serviceable, meaning that you can replace the front and rear skid plates as they get worn, and also the droop screw plates as they get worn too. The droop screw inserts are Aluminum, and the skid plates are carbon. We may offer Aluminum skid plates in the future. (Note): If you run the stock Losi motor mount, you do not need to buy the chassis with a motor mount. If you run a quick change mount, you will need to modify the bottom rear corner or buy a Matrix quick change mount.
